Protective Security & Advanced Medical Services
Enhanced Community Patrol is a multifaceted safety program which provides the highest level of protective security, combined with emergency medical response capabilities, to private neighborhoods and gated communities. Enhanced Community Patrol was designed by a panel of emergency management specialists, career law enforcement officers, fire/rescue/EMS personnel, and emergency physicians to address the gaps in municipal 911 services that have been observed over the course of many years.
PROBLEM: Sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of natural death in the United States, killing approximately 325,000 people of all ages each year. The only chance of survival depends on immediate high quality CPR, Early Defibrillation, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) interventions as prescribed by the American Heart Association. Without these treatments within the first 4 minutes of cardiac arrest, permanent brain injury and death will occur.
Average 911 ambulance response time: 9 minutes*
SOLUTION: Our team of licensed Security Officers effectively addresses these issues by providing a professional presence to protect property and deter criminal activity; while simultaneously maintaining the capability to respond to medical emergencies in the capacity as licensed EMT’s and Paramedics. Our cross-trained security and medical specialists are issued state-of-the-art equipment to accomplish their dual role mission. Enhanced Community Patrol personnel are capable of responding to a community residence within seconds of being notified of a security or medical emergency. Each team is assigned a defibrillator, oxygen, advanced airway supplies, and other basic and advanced life support equipment.
